The seafood curries are amazing at this place. We tried the crab, shrimp, squid and fish curries in the banana leaf set. Perfectly balanced and the portions are huge, plenty for two to share. Definitely one of the must go places to get good seafood curries.

A small clean establishment with friendly staff. We went for an early dinner and ordered the Banana Leaf Seafood Feast and it was a good portion for 2 of us. Photos showed how the seafood and rice were wrapped up on a banana leaf. The crab was disappointing as it was more shell and hardly any flesh and according to the server we can request to omit certain ingredients. Overall the dish was tasty and unfortunately we could not try other dishes with just the two of us dining. We will have to try other dishes the next time we visit. The menu with the prices was effective as of April 2023.

Appa’s original doesn’t disappoint. It’s such a nice place to take your Tamil and non-Tamil friends and family. The fusion dishes are so unique and definitely recommended for everyone to try. Their Kothu roti are pretty good and they have a different one on special each weekday. Today we sat in and ate and had the mutton peppercorn penne pasta and it was amazing. Probably one of my favourite things I’ve ever tried there so far. Please try this at least once! We also tried the mutton pepper noodles and it was good, mutton was nice and tender and the noodles were pretty flavourful, however just a word of warning, it can be spicy for those of you with a lower spice tolerance. My recommendation is if you get it, be prepared to eat it with a mango lassi or a sherbet. The pop isn’t going to help you non spicy eaters, it’ll just spread the spice! There’s many other options if you can’t tolerate spice though. I personally love spice so the spicier the better. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t for either take out or dine-in. My dad always loves it when I bring it home for him because it’s not like the usual Tamil places, it’s unique. Also on top of that, service is amazing, they’re very friendly there, including the original Appa!

Food was excellent, very fresh. Service and attention by the lady at the front was top notch. Very good experience with all the food we got. Service was 10 out of 10! Keep up the great service and food. Halal sign in front of the store, they also confirmed halal meat supplier. Lamprice was amazing! The Devil chicken was well prepared, great value and the taste and presentation is 10 out 10. Looking forward to my next visit!

Food has large portion . I think two people will be satisfied sharing a banana leaf meal . We ordered Dosa and mutton rolls which were delicious . All the food was so delicious we kept eating even though we are full because we kept wanting more of the flavor .

The butter chicken kothu roti (not hot for those who cant handle too much) and the egg kothu roti were both delicious. The portion was quite generous and very filling. Really enjoyed the masala tea and the mango lassi as well. Good seating options and the server/owner was friendly and helpful. Lots of parking spots in the complex. Definitely recommend!
